Alex Interview
This is the interview I did with Alex, who is a member of the LGBT community and is Gay. I did an interview with him as he has an interesting, more suppressed experience than some, giving interesting insights in the sadder parts of being in the community. This is the only edited interview, as in editing it I realised it would be far easier to pull the smaller bits I'll use in the end result rather than trying to compile them first.
Danni Interview
This is the Interview I did with Dani, who is a very active and accepting member of the community. She helps a lot of her LGBT friends and has a more happy and satisfied outlook and perception of the community which I managed to capture. As opposed to Alex, she had less trouble in her time, but also has more advice for others. As I said before, I mentioned that I wasn't editing the others, and thus this is in 5 takes due to the 10 minute limitation of the free software I used, and includes a myriad of outtakes and bloopers.
Kai Interview
Before anything else, roughly the first 12 minuets is blooper and outtake, but it starts becoming serious after that. I chose Kai because he has a much more laid back and relaxed view on the community while also having some interesting views on certain aspects. He's much less serious than other people when it comes to this topic, but surprisingly brought some serious viewpoints and ideas to light that I hope I can use.

ReplyDeleteThis is a good start in the production page!
ReplyDeleteTo continue this page, talk about each section of the final edit of the documentary. For example, if you used a montage, why did you use a montage?, If you used a voice over, why did use a voice over? I'd recommend having an example of the element you're talking about next to the explanation. So, a montage from your documentary next to the montage, for example.
