This is the notes and spider diagram of me looking into possible topics I can go into for my documentary. IAOAM stands for I Am Only A Man, the name of Jack's documentary which I was rather interested in and liked some of the themes. After a lot of thought I ultimately decided on the LGBT topic as it was close to heart and had a lot of different opportunities and avenues for me to explore.

The other Ideas I explored through talking to my peers was: Transsexual/Transgender, Mental Health, Dungeons & Dragons, Media, Voice Acting, Skateboarding, and Ice Skating. The first 4 options alongside LGBT where the main ones I considered as I have in depth connections to all of the topics they go into.

After deciding on the LGBT direction, I wanted to refine what I wanted to cover within the topic, looking at perception, difficulties, and differences between being outside or inside the community as overarching topics. The ideas i'm mainly interested in at this point are difficulties within the community and the way people see each other, with a positive focus on people in the community and the aim to help people accept it more and maybe help people to come out. one of the major factors to why I've picked this route is because I don't know enough people who might be against the community to interview and take that swing. Thus I'm taking a positive, albeit bias, look at the community.
